Since the early 1970’s, Susan has worked with Arthur D. Little as a Management Consultant, as senior Project Coordinator with NERC at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and as Secretary/Treasurer at A. Norman Law Visual Design. She has been a residential Real Estate Broker since 1987 in the metro west area of Boston, and also a Principal at Raskin Holdings LLC, Nashville, TN (since 2010). Starting in 1987, Susan and her husband lived in Wayland, raised twins, and in 2012, she was introduced to the Learning for Life program and The Hearthstone Institute. In caring for her husband throughout his journey with dementia, she developed a passion for providing the gift of all that the I’m Still Here Foundation can offer to those with memory impairment and their caregivers.Board of Directors:The Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the I’m Still Here Foundation and sets strategic directions. The Board meetings formally four times per year. Jerry Pucillo, – PresidentJerry Pucillo has over 30 years of real estate, development, program and project management experience. He has also been involved in corporate strategic planning and the development of new business initiatives. He was responsible for delivering over 1000 units of senior housing into the marketplace and recently has had a focus on the development of Assisted Living communities. Jerry also designed and developed a social service delivery program known as Elder Life for the Archdiocese of Boston to support the elderly housing program sponsored by the Archdiocese. This program ultimately became part of the social service delivery system of Catholic Charities.Chris Kincaid – Treasurer Chris is a co-founder of Trinity Senior Management, a national company that brings innovation, technology and heart to the Senior Living industry. Chris has long recognized the wisdom we gain when we honor the seniors in our life by viewing the world as best we can through their eyes. His passion for improving the lives of seniors started in his teen years and continued through college when he cared for his great-grandmother after she experienced minor paralysis from a stroke. Professionally, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Abe’s Garden Community in Nashville, TN, where he was responsible for all aspects of operations of the Memory Care Center of Excellence, Independent and Assisted Living Community, and home care program Abe’s Garden at Home. Prior to Abe’s Garden, Chris was Regional Operations Director of Tennessee at Americare Senior Living, Inc. There, he was responsible for operations of 12 assisted living and memory care communities in Tennessee, including 260 total units generating approximately $17 million in annual revenue. His assisted-living, retirement, and memory care community experience includes senior leadership roles at Rivermont Retirement Community, CCSC Franchising Systems, Inc., Copper Lake Estates/Certus Management, and Sterling House/Alterra Healthcare Corporation – all located in Oklahoma. Chris has served on the Oklahoma Assisted Living Association Board of Directors, was appointed to the Governor’s Long Term Care Coalition, and consulted with LeadingAge Tennessee. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies and Business Management at the University of Central Oklahoma and currently resides in Franklin, TN.Deke Cateau, MA – Board MemberDeke Cateau is the Chief Executive Officer at A.G. Rhodes Health & Rehab, a nonprofit organization operating three nursing homes in metro Atlanta. With nearly 20 years of experience in long-term care, Deke is passionate about fostering a greater understanding of and appreciation for the aging population. In addition to being a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Deke is certified by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Care Dementia Trainer. He is also a Certified Eden Alternative Educator and a Certified Virtual Dementia Tour Facilitator for nursing homes. Additionally, Deke serves on the Board of Directors for LeadingAge Georgia, the Board of Directors for The Eden Alternative, and he is a Leadership Atlanta class of 2019 graduate. Deke holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Relations from the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus, and certification in Global Leadership Development from the University of the Virgin Islands. A Trinidad native, Deke is an avid Caribbean music and soccer fan. He lives in Cobb County, Georgia, with his wife and three children.Reese Fayde, MA – Board MemberReese Fayde served as the first CEO of Living Cities, a consortium of some of America’s largest foundations and financial institutions. She guided the formation and then operated the independent organization that, during her tenure, invested more than $543 million in 23 cities, leveraging over $15 billion in construction of homes, schools, commercial space and community facilities. She has developed and managed mechanisms necessary for investors and municipalities to achieve tangible deal flow in target neighborhoods.Reese has a long history of service in the public and nonprofit sectors working for more than 20 years with administrators, residents and community-based organizations to rebuild, revitalize and manage affordable housing complexes in older urban neighborhoods. Operating a successful consulting business for 25 years, her clients have included the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), local public housing authorities, state housing finance agencies, community development corporations (CDCs), and resident associations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark University, a Master’s degree in Social Planning from Boston College, and was a Loeb Fellow at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Reese has served on numerous boards of directors, including the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, Citizens’ Housing Planning Association, Preservation of Affordable Housing, Rebuilding Together, and the Affordable Housing Institute.Nicole Gann, MS, SPHR-Board MemberNicole Gann discovered her passion to serve older adults quite by accident in 2000 and found her calling. Since then she has dedicated her efforts in supporting organizations which pursue excellence in aging services. In 2012, Gann joined the team at Juliette Fowler Communities, where she has served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2018. She is responsible for the strategic vision of the organization. Nicole holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. In addition, she has enhanced her leadership skills through studies and training with the Stagen Integral Leadership Program and the John Maxell Leadership Program. She is board chair for The Educational Institute on Aging (EIA) Board of LeadingAge Texas and serves as an executive committee board member on the LeadingAge Texas Board, the state association for senior living.Gann enjoys reading, whether industry, pop culture, current events, or fiction, as well as sewing, singing and playing the guitar. She volunteers with her church, and stands at the ready to help with special drives or causes important to colleagues, friends and family. She and her husband, Steve, share a love of music and travel and enjoy spending time at home with their white lab, Cali.Kenneth Goldstein- Board MemberKenneth M. Goldstein is a practicing attorney in Brookline, Massachusetts, serving as a senior partner at Goldstein & Herndon, LLP. This is a general practice of four attorneys with broad-ranging experience in real estate conveyancing, land use, real estate litigation, business acquisitions, corporate law, tax law, estate planning and probate. Ken has served his community for many years, including as Chairman of the Board of Selectmen in Brookline and Chairman of the Brookline Planning Board. Ken is a committed community volunteer, serving as an active member of the Brookline Rotary Club, Brookline Holocaust Witness Documentary Project Commission, Brookline/Kent Station Street Affordable Senior Housing Committee, and more. Ken was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in English and European History from Connecticut College and a Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law. Paul Raia, PhD – Board MemberDr. Paul Raia, PhD, has worked in the fields of gerontology and psychology for more than 30 years. For many years, he served as the Director of Patient Care and Family Support at the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts Chapter. His interest in Alzheimer’s came out of his role as a caregiver for his aunt who suffered from dementia and passed away in 1989. Since then, he has developed a systematic approach to dementia called “Habitation Therapy,” a technique that focuses on the patient’s emotions and their remaining capacities. Dr. Raia has appeared on many Boston-based media outlets and on CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, and PBS national news programs.Marilyn Raichle, MPA – Board MemberMarilyn Raichle, a graduate of University of Washington, began her career in Seattle as producer at The Bathhouse Theater and was a Theatre Communications Fellow at the Guthrie in Minneapolis. In 1987 she founded the Seattle International Children’s Festival, introducing children to world culture through the performing arts and growing to become the largest such festival in the US. In 2007, she received a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Upon returning to Seattle, she became a care partner for her parents, both of whom were developing Alzheimer’s Disease. In 2010,

She has worked with government agencies in Canada and the United States to help solve problems of high-density family housing, to renovate and improve public institutions, such as prisons and psychiatric hospitals, and on creating energy-efficient office buildings. Professor Emeritus, at the University of Montreal, Dr. Vischer, has published five books about her work.John Zeisel, PhD, Hon D.Sc. – Founder and Board MemberJohn Zeisel is the inspiration for the I’m Still Here Foundation. Under his direction, Hearthstone Alzheimer Care donated over $500,000 over a period of ten years to establish the Foundation – originally called the Hearthstone Family Foundation – as a major arts-oriented, nonprofit engagement foundation for persons with dementia.Working hand in hand with the Foundation’s first Director Sean Caulfield, the Foundation raised funds to develop groundbreaking programs for persons with dementia. John has a PhD in Sociology from Columbia University, a Loeb Fellowship from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, and an Honorary Doctor of Science Degree from Salford University in the UK. Author of I’m Still Here: A New Philosophy of Alzheimer’s Care, a bestselling book presenting a new paradigm of hope for persons with dementia and their care partners, Dr. Zeisel is an acknowledged leader in this field.
